Indian Wedding- Bridesmaid Outfits Ideas
Are you having an Indian wedding with all the bridesmaid along your side? Confused what to choose for your Bridesmaid to wear? Relax, here I am giving you some options of Bridesmaid outfits for Indian Wedding. Before choosing an outfit for your Bridesmaid, you first need to finalize your own Bridal outfit. Once that is done, then you can choose the outfits for them in the color coordination with your Indian Bridal dress.
In the Indian Weddings, Saree is mostly used as the Bridesmaid outfit. It’s the most easy thing for a Bride to buy, even if all her friends are living in different part of the worlds. As the saree comes in a fix size, there is no issue of measurements, trials, alterations etc. Yes, the only thing that needs to be stitched is the blouse but its not a big thing to co-ordinate the top measurement of 6 to 8 girls. If the wedding is taking place in India then its very easy to get bridesmaid sarees but if you are living in any other part of the world then also these days you can easily order Bridesmaid sarees online and also choose for the option of blouse stitching. All the bridesmaid can drape the same saree in different style or wear same pattern saree in different color, this will make them look different but still same.
This one could be a perfect Bridesmaid outfit but not in all cases. If you are having a wedding and all your maid of the honor lives nearby then you can go for this option as the fitting matters the most in this outfit and regular trials needs to be done. Also buying 6-8 anarkalis can cost you a bit higher as compared to saree. So, make your choice keeping in mind the above mentioned points.
These suits give simple and traditional Punjabi look and are also available at a very low price than an Anarkali Suits. But yes again this outfit also requires too much of customization and all, hence if you have a Personal tailor who can patiently co-ordinate with the measurements of your Birdesmaid then only go for this option. However you can choose same pattern Patiala suit in different colors, it would look great with Punjabi juttis.
Apart from these 3 options you can also choose either plain salear kameez or Lehenga Choli as Bridesmaid outfit. But I don’t think that would be a great idea, reason being firstly, you yourself would be dressed in Lehenga choli and if your Bridesmaid also get dressed in the same attire then the attention might get shifted from you to them. Secondly it would cost you way too much and thirdly it would be very heavy for your bridesmaid to carry a Lehenga.
