India Couture Week 2015 Highlights
It was the aura of fashion in New Delhi with the India Couture Week 2015 which opened on 29th July 2015 and ended on 2nd August 2015. Sabyasachi and the famous French Foot wear designer Louboutin opened the event wherein Louboutin was also the show stopper for Sabya. It was a starry studded affair in Delhi for all these five days when all the top most Indian fashion designers at India Couture Week 2015 showcased their designs on the ramp

He has proved his potential over a period of time and now is counted among one of the famous fashion designer of the world, especially bollywood. The ramp set was decorated like a wild Jungle and the background music of bats, fireflies to create a smoky effect. It was a wild theme this time and the models were all seen in sarees with over jacket, maxi dresses and trousers. On the Men collection, the models walked in bandhgala with stoles and Nehru jackets. In his interview, he said that in this collection he have used various types of hand embroideries from every part of India like the work of zardozi, resham ki kadai, parsi weave and so on. Unlike every other fashion show this time the Bollywood tadka was missing in the ramp for this ace fashion designer but still all the models were looking stunning in the dresses and Louboutin shoes.
Kirti Sanon Walked the Ramp for Monisha Jaising: The Heropanti actress flaunted her style confidently as a modern day bride wherein she was wearing a heavy embellished lehenga which was teamed up smartly with a grey ganji, red bridal dupatta and funky sport shoes.
Kalki Koechlin For Gaurav Gupta: The Margaritta with a straw star, Kalki Koechlin smartly walked the ramp for silt and cipher collection of designer Gaurav Gupta. She look stunning in the dark cream silk gown and turned out to be the best show stopper of the show.
Luxury Wedding Design By Varun Bahl: It’s you D-Day and you can’t afford to look ordinary and that’s why the luxury wedding theme by Varun Bahl. It was all flowery affairs with motifs work in his collection. Shararas, gowns, bridal dresses, crop top lehenga, rose motif sarees.Manish Malhotra: Last but not the least, Manish Malhotra proved it in a right manner at India Couture Week 2015 that why ladies love to wear his outfits for wedding. All the dresses were embroidered with long tail birdies on the fabric like green silk having lots of gold work. Cute colors like peach and sea green were a part of his closet. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turned out to be the perfect muse as a showstopper for the EMPRESS STORY. His collection was a tribute to every Indian craftsman who works hard to create a unique pattern and design. This was also a very emotional moment for him as it was the completion of 25 years of him in the fashion industry and 10 years for the brand MANISH MALHOTRA.
